27 July 2010 - For the convenience of General Public the Royal Monetary Authority would like to announce that all Foreign Exchanges Retail Business mentioned below will be delegated to the commercial banks from the 1st August 2010, therefore, all Govt. Agencies, Corporations, NGOs and Private etc., are requested to address their Foreign Exchange release directly from any of the commercial banks without reference to the RMA. 1. All Govt. Foreign Exchange related releases 2. Course/ Tuition fees etc. 3. Tourism related refunds 4. All Private travels related foreign exchange release 5. Stipends and related expenses of Student Studying Abroad However, RMA will continue as usual with respect to debt repayment for both government and private.
