Working Group Report on Bank Service Charge

Until now, applications of service charges were left to the individual banks. However, the general public has made complain to the RMA about the exorbitant bank service charges being levied on the customers and a need to review the service charges was felt very necessary. Given the low level of infrastructure in the banking sector and the kind of monopoly the banks enjoy, the service charges remained sky high.
