The first South Asian Insurance Regulators Forum (SAIRF) meeting was held in Sri Lanka, Colombo hosted by Insurance Board of Sri Lanka (IBSL) on 19-20 December, 2001,

The second SAIRF meeting was held in India hosted by Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) on July 16, 2004,

Third SAIRF meeting was held in Nepal by Insurance Board of Nepal (Bema Samiti) on April 23, 2005; and

The fourth SAIRF meeting was held in Bhutan hosted by Royal Monetary Authority on April 10, 2006.
