Technical Committee (TC)

The TC is the sub group working committee which will support NCC in carrying out the following activities:

  • Preparing draft policies related to prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing and presenting those to National Coordination Committee;
  • Ensuring effectiveness of related institutes in implementing the policies adopted;
  • Strengthening interagency coordination and easing interagency information sharing in preventing money laundering and terrorist financing;
  • Adopting work-plan for implementing policies and decisions taken by the National Coordination Committee;
  • Preparing reports for the National Coordination Committee and assisting the committee;
  • The committee considering the necessity, can co-opt any official or individual of any related institute
  • The committee considering the necessity can form sub-committee

Technical Committee- Meetings of the Committee is held as often as may be necessary, but in any event, it is convened at least every quarter of the year, and meetings are to be held at such places, times and dates as the Chairman may determine.
