The Royal Monetary Authority, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, officially launched the Overseas Education and Skill Development Scheme, on 7th April, 2017. The launch was graced by the Hon’ble Ministers, Secretaries and Officials of Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Labour and Human Resources and the CEOs of the Financial Institutions.
The Scheme was officially launched by the Hon’ble Governor of the RMA and the Hon’ble Secretaries of the MOF and MOLHR.
The objective of the scheme is for Bhutanese Youth to access higher education or develop proficiencies/skills abroad to improve their employment opportunities or business positions on return home.
