This is to inform the general public that the RMA Board has approved the Rules and Regulations for Cottage and Small Industries (CSI) Banks in Bhutan during its 139 th Board meeting held on 18 th July, 2018. The main objective of the said rules and regulations is to develop, promote, assist and support the establishment of, expansion or improvement of cottage and small industries in the country by granting credit facilities.
To start with, RMA will be accepting applications only from the proposed Non-Deposit Taking CSI Banks from 1st of August 2018 till 31st of October 2018.Therefore, all interested applicants are required to submit their application along with all the relevant documents during the aforementioned period. The Rules and Regulations for CSI banks is hosted on the RMA website and all the required criteria and documents for the licensing of the CSI banks are mentioned therein.
