In line with the RMA Circular referenced RMA/RSD/293 dated 21July 2016, updated on August 8, 2016, the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan has revised the Single MLR from 6.30 percent (as of June 2018) to 7.04 percent in December 2018. This revised MLR shall remain effective for the next six months commencing March 2019 until August 2019.
All the financial institutions (including the banks and non-bank financial institutions) are expected to revise their final lending rates of various loan products latest by February 28, 2019 using the above revised Single MLR.
