The Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan is pleased to announce the launch of the new generation Nu.5 and Nu.10 denomination circulating coins coinciding with the joyous occasion of the 40th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo. These coins are circulating legal tender coins and will be available for exchange from all the RMA Exchange Counters and Commercial Banks from the mid of May, 2020. Hence, the public are requested to use them for smooth flow of the smaller denominations transactions in order to ensure the smooth circulation of coins in an economy.
