PUBLIC NOTIFICATION DURING COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

In response to the Covid-19 lockdown, the Royal Monetary Authority would like to inform the general public that only essential financial services shall be obtainable from all financial service providers until the end of lockdown.

Essential Financial Services are as follows:

1. Retail Digital Payments;
2. Person-to-Person Payment Transfer;
3. Large Value Fund Transfer;
4. Cross Border Transactions and Remittances; and
5. Cash Transactions and Credit Services.

Furthermore, the RMA would like to encourage all members of the general public to kindly avail and use the online services offered by the respective financial service providers so as to limit the person-to-person interactions and to contain and stop the spread of the Covid-19.
