The Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan would like to inform the general public that the frequency of the INR monthly private travel quota of INR 25,000/- cash has been revised to Semi-annually with the effect from February 06, 2023.
Further, the RMA has reviewed the USD-ATS modality whereby the residents travelling to third countries are permitted to avail USD 1,000/- in cash and USD 2000/- in cards with effect from February 06, 2023.
