In line with recent verbal communication from the Reserve Bank of India on 18th November 2016, we would like inform all that withdrawals of Ngultrum counter value against the deposits made in the demonetized Indian Rupee banknotes of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 cannot be withdrawn until further notice. However, banks will continue to accept the demonetized notes in your respective Ngultrum accounts until 30 November 2016.
